WEST PALM BEACH, FL (March 15, 2010) – The Fitchburg State women’s lacrosse team opened up its 2010 season this afternoon, but the Falcons were edged by Curry College, 11-10 in West Palm Beach, Florida. With the win, the Colonels improve their record to 2-1 while the Falcons drop to 0-1.

MILTON, Mass. – Curry drops second in a row with a 12-7 loss to visiting Salem State.  With the win the Vikings improve their record to 2-1 overall.  The Colonels fall to 2-2 overall.

MILTON, Mass.- Keene State scored 11 second half goals to beat Curry 16-10.  With the win, the Owls improve their record to 2-0.  The Colonels fall to 1-1 overall.

3.10.10 | Men's Ice Hockey
PINE VALLEY, N.Y. -- The Elmira College Soaring Eagles Men’s Ice Hockey team took the ice Wednesday night in the first round of the NCAA Division III Men’s Ice Hockey Tournament against the Colonels of Curry College. Elmira College entered the contest with an overall 18-8-1 record, while the ECAC Northeast champion Colonels possessed a 19-8-1 overall record.

MILTON, Mass.- M.I.T scored six unanswered goals in the the second half to beat Curry 10-6.  With the win, the Engineers begin their season at 1-0. The Colonels absorbed their first loss of the season and fall to 2-1 overall.

3.9.10 | Women's Lacrosse
MILTON, Mass. - Curry College senior attacker Ashley Hansbury (Chelmsford, Mass.) led the Colonels to a 23-7 victory over Lasell in their season opener with a seven goal and two assist performance. Hansbury also contributed a caused turnover, draw control, and four ground balls in the win.

MILTON, Mass. - Four members of the Curry College Hockey Team have been named to the ECAC Northeast All-Conference Team.  Sophomore defender Ryan Barlock (Niles, IL) was named to the First-Team All-Conference, senior Sean Sylvester (Randolph, NJ) and sophomore John Williams (Flourtown, PA) were named to the Second-Team All-Conference and freshman Connor Hendry (Alberta, CAN) was named to the All-Rookie Team.
