MILTON, Mass. - The Curry College Athletic Department recently partnered with Team IMPACT to welcome Sean Bennett as an honorary captain of the Curry Colonels Hockey Team. Bennett, 12, from nearby Brighton, Mass. was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia in December of 2010.

Jordan Reed (Ajax, Ontario/Huntsville Otters, OJHL) has been named as ECAC Northeast "Rookie of the Week". In a 2-0 week for Curry, Reed finished with five points. In a 6-1 win over Becker, he scored one goal and was credited with two assists. In a 5-2 victory over Johnson & Wales, he notched another goal and added another assist.
