MILTON, Mass. - The Curry College Men’s Ice Hockey team opens play in the 2010 NCAA Division III Tournament on Wednesday, March 10. The Colonels (19-8-1) are the #7 seed in the East Region and will travel to the #6 seed Elmira College (18-8-1) on Wednesday for a 7:00 p.m. contest.

MILTON, Mass.- Curry College scored five second-period goals then held off Johnson & Wales, winning 5-4 and capturing the 2010 ECAC Northeast Tournament Championship. The Colonels (19-8-1) earned their first conference title since 2005 and will represent the ECAC Northeast in next week’s NCAA Division III Championship. The Wildcats finished their season at 12-15-1.

BOSTON, Mass. – Senior forward Michael O’Brien (Royersford, Pa.) scored at 2:13 of the third period to snap a 2-all tie and classmate Justin Marriott (St. Clair Shores, Much.) turned aside 32 shots to win his school record 53rd career game as the Wentworth hockey team defeated Curry, 4-2, to claim its first ECAC Northeast regular season crown since the 2002-03 season.
