CURRY COLLEGE ATHLETICS

FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. - The Curry College Women's Basketball Team struggled in its first game at the Cruzin' Classic, falling to Hamline University, 97-64. The game was played at Nova Southeastern University in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.

High Scorers for the Colonels included junior Jennifer Olejnik (12), freshman Carolyn Houston (11), junior Joneiha Veiga (11), and freshman Hailey Rafferty (10). Rafferty led the squad with nine rebounds.

Curry fell to 3-4 on the season, while Hamline improved to 4-3. The Colonels resume play on December 20, taking on their second Cruzin' Classic opponent, Mount St. Vincent, in a 10:00 a.m. contest.
