MILTON, Mass. - Curry freshman G/F Julia Scrubb (Stowe, VT) was named as The Commonwealth Coast Conference (TCCC) Rookie of the Week on Jan. 25.

She averaged 14.5 points and 5.5 rebounds per game as the Colonels split a pair of conference matchups last week. In Curry’s impressive 74-54 victory over Colby-Sawyer, Scrubb came off the bench to post a game- and career-high 23 points and a team-best eight rebounds in just 20 minutes of action. Later in the week, Scrubb chipped in six points and three rebounds in a 90-62 loss at Gordon. Over the two games, Scrubb averaged 14.5 points and 5.5 rebounds, while shooting 57% from both the field (12-of-21) and at the line (4-of-7).
