MBB Selected As #7 Seed in ECAC Division III New England Tournament

MILTON, Mass. – The Curry College men’s basketball team was selected to compete in the 2009-10 Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) Division III New England Championship tournament as the seventh seed in an eight-team field as announced by the organization on Monday.
Curry (15-13) will travel to second-seeded Elms College (21-6) on Wednesday, March 3 for a 7:00 p.m. contest in Chicopee, Mass. The Colonels suffered a heartbreaking 56-54 loss to Gordon College in The Commonwealth Coast Conference (TCCC) Championship on Saturday.
Elms defeated Becker College in the New England Collegiate Conference (NECC) Championship title game on Saturday and has now won six straight conference championships. The squad has also won 20 or more games in each of the last six seasons.
