Peters Named As TCCC Player of the Week

MILTON, Mass. - Curry College junior first baseman/pitcher Amanda Peters (East Bridgewater, Mass.) has been named as The Commonwealth Coast Conference (TCCC) Player of the Week in softball for the period of April 19-24.
Peters batted .423 (11-for-26) with two doubles, five home runs, 15 RBI and seven runs scored over eight games played, as the Colonels wrapped up the sixth need and one home playoff contest in the upcoming TCCC Championship. Peters, who batted safely and drove in at least one run in six different contests, swatted home runs in five different games. She also tossed complete-game shutouts over Eastern Nazarene to start the week and University of New England in the regular-season finale.
