Williams Named as NEFC Defensive Player of the Week

MILTON, Mass. - Curry College sophomore linebacker Devin Williams (Gardner, Mass.) has been named as the New England Football Conference (NEFC) Defensive Player of the Week for the period ending on November 7.

Williams was all over the field in Curry's four overtime 27-21 loss to Endicott, making a dozen tackles. Eight of his stopswere unassisted, and he registered a half sack and an additional tackle for loss. Williams also broke up two passes.

Through nine games, Williams paces the Colonels with 82 total tackles (59 solo) and nine tackles for loss (-29 yards).
