The 2017 season was Rich's second season as Head Women’s Cross Country Coach. Rich led the Colonels to an eighth-place finish at the 2017 Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) Championship meet.
Rich helped lead Curry to a seventh-place finish out of nine teams at the 2016 Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) Championship meet.
Rich graduated from Whitman-Hanson Regional High School, where he captained both the winter and spring cross country teams during his senior year. In 2013, Rich earned his Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology: Sport Studies from the University of New Hampshire, where he competed on the Cycling Team.
Rich is a competitive triathlete, having qualified annually for the USA Triathlon National Championship every year since 2010. His best finish placed him in the top 5% overall. In the past, Rich has also qualified for the Ironman 70.3 World Championships and has several overall wins and podiums in his career.
Currently Rich serves as the Head Girls Track and Field Coach at Braintree High School for both the indoor and outdoor programs. He is also a USA Triathlon Level 1 Coach for Cycle Life Studio in Whitman, Mass.
Rich's other recent positions include: Event Staff Supervisor at the University of New Hampshire, Assistant Track & Field Coach at Whitman-Hanson High School and Sales Associate at Bikebarn Racing.
