Men's & Women's Basketball Receive Conference Honors
Milton, MA - Upon the conclusion of the Conference of New England (CNE) season for men's and women's basketball, players are voted on and selected to receive All-Conference Honors. On Tuesday, it was announced that three Colonels were recipients of such awards.
From women's basketball, Senior guard, Lauren Dunn was named to the CNE All-Conference Third Team. Dunn led the team in scoring in her senior year by posting 9.2 points per contest, coupled with 3.5 rebounds and 2.2 assists. Dunn has now been named to a CNE All-Conference team for her second consecutive year, which was preceeded by earning Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) third team and Rookie of the Year honors in her freshman and sophomore years. Dunn finishes her career at Curry as one of the most decorated members in program history with 1272 points (5th all-time), and is within the top 10 in several other categories.
Seniors Jake Berardo and Ellery Campbell were named to the Conference Community Service Team. This award emphasizes those student athletes who have a great impact outside of their sport, and reflects their commitment to service, leadership, and making a positive difference beyond competition.
