MILTON, Mass. - Curry College was defeated 22-6 in a non-conference collegiate baseball game Wednesday afternoon at Jack Vallely Diamond.
With the loss, the Colonels' overall record falls to 8-15 while remaining 4-6 in conference
Kyle Doolin drove in the Colonels' first run in the bottom of the first on a groundout to third. Later, a two-run homer by Brandon Mantilla-Mercado, his second in as many games, scored Curry's second and third runs in the third inning. Doolin added another run with a sacrifice fly in the fourth while Brady Callahan hit an RBI single to right field and later crossed home plate on a balk to round out scoring for the Colonels in the bottom of the eighth.
Curry College returns to action on Saturday, April 19th, for a home doubleheader against Suffolk beginning at 11 a.m.
