Tommy Marshall was named Conference of New England Baseball Third Team All-Conference as a designated hitter, announced by the league offices on Wednesday afternoon.
Marshall led the Colonels in multiple offensive categories, including 41 hits, 24 runs, nine doubles, and an impressive .345 batting average. He also added 16 RBIs, nine walks, two home runs, and one triple, while sporting a .400 on-base percentage and .487 slugging percentage.
The senior was also effective on the mound, throwing a team-high 46 strikeouts in 43.2 innings, amounting to 9.48 strikeouts per nine innings
Senior Kyle Doolin earned the CNE Community Service Team nod, which recognizes one student-athlete per institution who demonstrates a commitment to their community, selected by each team's head coach. Doolin was another impact player for the Colonels, leading the squad with 18 RBIs, adding 31 hits, six doubles, three home runs, and a .301 batting average.
