Milton, MA - The Curry College Football team announced their 2024 schedule on Thursday. As the countdown to the upcoming college football season begins, fans of Curry College are bracing themselves for an intense journey ahead. With the release of the team's schedule, it's clear that they'll be facing one of the toughest paths in the nation.

Curry is set to embark on a grueling schedule that reads like a who's who of college football powerhouses. From perennial contenders to rising stars, every opponent on the list poses a significant challenge. Six of the ten teams on the 2024 schedule made an appearance in the postseason including four of which qualified for the 32 team NCAA Division 3 National Playoffs last season.

Head Coach Todd Parsons acknowledges the tough road ahead but exudes confidence in his team's ability to rise to the occasion. "Our schedule is packed with top-tier competition, but that's exactly the kind of challenge we thrive on," says Parsons. "Every game on our schedule is a battle. We're going to have to bring our A-game every week. But that's what makes college football great - the opportunity to compete against the best. At this time, however, our players are putting a lot of hard work in, and we are focused on ourselves and getting better one day at a time. There's a lot to do before our focus goes towards our opponents."

The Colonels will open the season up on the road as they travel to Salve Regina for a game under the lights on Friday, September 6th. They will then welcome Hardin-Simmons (TX) to Katz Field for the Colonels' home opener. Hardin-Simmons played in the NCAA Tournament last season. After a road game at Dean the following week, the Colonels will welcome their second ranked team of the season to Milton, MA in the form of Ithaca on Saturday, September 28th. The game will also serve as Curry's Homecoming. The Bombers advanced to the second round of the NCAA tournament last season. After a much deserved bye week, the Colonels will wrap up their non-conference portion of the schedule with a home game against Alfred State. 

The Curry conference schedule will start on Saturday, October 19th when the Colonels travel to Western New England. The following week Husson will travel down to Massachusetts for the Colonels penultimate home game of the season. The Colonels will then play two straight road games on Saturday, November 2nd and Saturday November 9th at Nichols and the University of New England respectively. The Colonels will then close out their regular season on Saturday, November 16th with Senior Day, hosting another team that made it to the NCAA tournament last season in Endicott.
