The 2024 Academic All-District Football teams, selected by College Sports Communicators, recognize the nation’s top student-athletes for their combined performances on the field and in the classroom. The CSC Academic All-America program separately recognizes football honorees in four divisions — NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III, and NAIA.
Curry College running back Montie Quinn (Goose Creek, S.C.) has earned a spot on the 2024 Walter Camp Division III All-America Team. Quinn is the only Conference of New England player represented on the team.

Montie Quinn rushed for 169 yards to achieve 4435 career rushing yards, passing the previous all-time career record set by Raphael Zammit from 2000-2003. Quinn, a junior, surpassed the record in just three seasons, setting single-season rushing records in back-to-back years with 1618 yards in the 2023 season and 1652 this season.
Quinn earned the New England Football Writers Week 10 Gold Helmet Award and was named to the D3Football.com Team of the Week.
Two Curry College student-athletes received weekly awards for outstanding performances over the weekend.
Quinn had a historic performance, rushing 27 times for 381 yards, shattering Raphael Zammit's previous Curry College single-game rushing record of 319 yards, also versus Nichols in 2003. Quinn also found the endzone on four different occasions, coming within one score of Michael Waithe’s five touchdowns in a 1987 contest against Western New England.
Curry College defeated Conference of New England rival the University of New England 24-10 Saturday afternoon in a football game at Blue Storm Stadium.
Montie Quinn earned the honor as the Colonels' lead running back, rushing for a total of 258 yards and two touchdowns on 33 attempts for 7.8 yards per carry and a long of 20 yards.
