Montie Quinn Named AFCA First Team All-American For Second Straight Year
WACO, TEX. — Curry running back Montie Quinn headlined the 2025 AFCA Division III Coaches' All-America Teams announced by the American Football Coaches Association.
The AFCA has selected an All-America team since 1945 and currently selects teams in all five of its divisions. What makes these teams so special is that they are the only ones chosen exclusively by the men who know the players the best — the coaches themselves.
Now a two-time AFCA All-American, Quinn led all NCAA divisions with 2,446 yards rushing in 2025 and was second in all divisions with 27 rushing touchdowns and an average carry of 10.07 yards. He set a new single game NCAA all-Division record with 522 yards rushing against Nichols in October. Quinn went over the 100-yard mark in 10 of Curry's 11 games and had seven games of 200-plus yards rushing.
Quinn is the only player in the country to be named to the AFCA First Team each of the last two seasons.
