Montie Quinn Named AP All-American and Gagliardi Trophy Finalist
Milton, MA - Curry Football's Montie Quinn has continued to collect national recognition, receiving two honors on Thursday. First he was named an AP All-American First Teamer for the second straight year. Then later in the day he was named one of five finalists for the Gagliardi Trophy, given to the best DIII player in the country. Last season he was a semifinalist for the award.
The other finalists for the Gagliardi Trophy are Kaleb Blaha (QB - Wisconsin-River Falls), Bay Harvey (QB - Johns Hopkins), Jack Curtis (QB - Carleton), and Albert Rundell (WR - Bethel (MN). Blaha and Rundell were also named AP All-American First Teamers, while Harvey was named to the third team.
Quinn led all NCAA divisions with 2,446 yards rushing in 2025 and was second in all divisions with 27 rushing touchdowns and an average carry of 10.07 yards. He set a new single game NCAA all-Division record with 522 yards rushing against Nichols in October. Quinn went over the 100-yard mark in 10 of Curry's 11 games and had seven games of 200-plus yards rushing.
The 2025 Gagliardi Trophy winner will be revealed on D3football.com during the week of the NCAA Division III football national championship, which will be played on January 4th.
