Jason was born in Melrose, Mass...is majoring in business administration at Curry...the son of Julie and Leonard Romans...has two younger siblings, Jonathan and Maddie...chose Curry for the campus and for its proximity to home

Jason is a 2022 graduate of Bishop Fenwick High School in Peabody, Mass...played four years of varsity basketball, three years of varsity football, and one year of varsity golf for the Crusaders...a three-year captain of the basketball team...high school basketball coach was Kevin Moran, Curry men's basketball's all-time leading scorer...a member of his school's 1,000-point club...a four-time Salem News All-Star and three-time Catholic Central League All-Star...named his basketball team's Most Valuable Player as a senior...his high school's all-time leader in touchdown receptions in a season and career receiving yards...a Catholic Central League, Salem News, and Lynn Item all-star as a senior
