Milton, MA - Curry men's basketball faced a tough challenge at Katz Gymnasium, falling 108–71 to Roger Williams.
 
Roger Williams set the tone early, continuing their hot shooting for most of the contest. The Hawks poured in 57 first-half points, shooting at a 66.7% clip and besting the Colonels 36-3 from beyond the arc. At the break despite a close battle for the first 10 minutes, Curry found themselves in a 57-31 hole.
 
Curry responded with improved pace and execution in the second half, scoring 40 points after intermission. Even with the improvements, it wasn't enough to overcome the lead the Hawks had built as they maintained seperation in the road victory.
 
Tommy Mallinson would score 11 points, knocking down three shots from beyond the arc. and JD Heneke also reached double figures, scoring 12 points while converting 4-of-5 free throws and two three-pointers. Isaiah Andino provided a spark off the bench, finishing with 12 points on 5-of-9 shooting, while Jeremiah Predin added nine points and five rebounds in 16 minutes. Ebube Agbaji also made the most of his time on the floor, contributing five points.
 
For the Hawks, Ashton Leclerc couldn't miss as he finished an astounding 12-for-13 from deep and 14-for-15 from the field scoring a game-high 43 points. Ty Higgins would add 15 points off the bench.
 
The Colonels will get a break from CNE play on Thursday as they face the Chargers of Colby-Sawyer at 6 PM in Katz Gymnasium.
