Hockey Ranked 15th Nationally in First USCHO.Com Poll
Minneapolis, Minn. - St. Norbert, the 2011 national Division III champion, starts this season as the top-ranked team in the USCHO.com Division III Men’s Poll. Last year’s runner-up, Adrian, comes in at No. 4, while Oswego is No. 2 and Norwich in third place. Defending ECAC Northeast Champion Curry makes its 2011-2012 debut at #15.
St. Norbert received 16 first-place votes, while Oswego grabbed three and
Norwich a single No. 1 vote.
Plattsburgh comes in at No. 5 and Elmira at No. 6, the same place both
finished last year.
The rest of the top 10 has Castleton at No. 7, Bowdoin eighth,
Wisconsin-Superior at No. 9 and Hamline tenth.
Neumann is 11th this week, followed by Geneseo, Utica, Milwaukee School of
Engineering and Curry, respectively.
