SPRINGFIELD, Mass. - Senior forward Shane Tracy (Bow, N.H.) and Kasper Kjellkvist (Vaxjo, Sweden) have been named the Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) Player and Rookie of the Week, respectively, as announced by the league office on Monday afternoon. The duo helped Curry to a 2-0 week with a pair of victories over conference opponent Johnson & Wales.

Tracy collected seven points as the Colonels swept a home-and-home series from Johnson & Wales.  In the opener at JWU, Tracy potted a goal and added two assists in Curry's 4-2 victory.  He followed with two goals including the game-winner to go with a pair of assists in a 6-3 triumph two nights later in Milton. In the two-game set, Tracy registered three goals, four assists and a plus-7 rating.

Freshman forward Kasper Kjellkvist (Vaxjo, Sweden) has been named as the Commonwealth Coast Conference Rookie of the Week.  Kjellkvist collected two goals in two assists in Curry's two-game sweep of Johnson & Wales.  Kjellkvist dished out one assist in Curry's 4-2 win in the opener.  He came up in the Colonels' 6-3 triumph in the second game, scoring two goals and adding an assist for a career-high three points.
