The USCHO announced on Wednesday, April 9th, that Shane Soderwall and Peter Roundy were named DIII Player and Coach of the Year for the Colonels' record-breaking 2024-25 men’s ice hockey season.
The New England Hockey Writers Association announced today that three men’s and two women’s ice hockey players earned 2024-25 New England Division II-III All-Star status for their outstanding play throughout the season.
Curry College ice hockey received several accolades from the American Hockey Coaches Association, headlined by Shane Soderwall, who earned the 2025 Sid Watson Award, an honor given to the best DIII men’s player in NCAA hockey. Soderwall and Eelis Laaksonen were also named the 2024-25 CCM Hockey/AHCA Division II-III Men’s All-American Hockey Teams, while Peter Roundy earned AHCA Coach of the Year.
