Men’s Lacrosse Bested by UNE in Season Finale
Curry College was defeated 8-7 in a closely contested Conference of New England men’s lacrosse game Wednesday afternoon at Blue Bolt Field.

MILTON, Mass. - Curry College was defeated 8-7 in a closely contested Conference of New England men's lacrosse game Wednesday afternoon at Blue Bolt Field.
With the loss, the Colonels are eliminated from playoff contention, finishing with an overall record of 2-15 and 2-6 in conference play.
After going down 3-0 in the first quarter, Mac Kline and Nicholas Cole opened the second with back-to-back goals, assisted by Jed Cappuccino and Brody Dalzell.
Trailing 5-2 halfway through the third, Dalzell scored again, this time assisted by goalie Niko DeCola. Dalzell assisted the next goal, a man-up score with five minutes remaining in the period. The Colonels scored three straight goals to open the final quarter, with Cappuccino, Dalzell, and Sebastian Reid giving Curry a 7-6 lead, its first of the game. Unfortunately for the Nor'easters scored twice to come back and take the win.
In addition to making eight saves in 60 minutes in goal, DeCola assisted on two goals throughout the contest.
