Colonels Fall to Beacons in Final Match of the Season
The Curry College Men's Tennis team was downed by non-conference opponent UMass Boston Thursday afternoon by a final score of 7-2 on the Trent J. Scott '96 Tennis Courts.

MILTON, Mass. - The Curry College Men's Tennis team was downed by non-conference opponent UMass Boston Thursday afternoon by a final score of 7-2 on the Trent J. Scott '96 Tennis Courts.
With the loss, Curry closes out their season at 0-16 overall and 0-8 in the CCC.
Senior David Monteiro (Fall River, Mass.) and junior Grant Palmer (Charlotte, N.C.) were victorious in their singles match Thursday afternoon, Monteiro claiming a point after taking his match 6-1, 6-1 in #5 singles; Palmer taking the #6 singles victory with 6-0, 6-4 results over UMass Boston's Felix Nguyen.
The Beacons, however, won the remaining four singles matches while sweeping the doubles matches, claiming the conference victory at the Trent J. Scott Tennis Courts, 7-2.
