Leominster, MA - The Curry Cross Country team participated in the Jim Sheehan Cross Country race on Saturday, hosted by Fitchburg State.

On the women's side of things, Mackenzie Husson and Olivia Pennington finished 6th and 7th, with times of 24:51.4 and 25:39.7 respectively in the 5k. Zoe Desmarias also raced, finishing 12th with a time of 29:04.6.

For the men, Alex Nason was the top dog, as he finished 9th in the 8k with a time of 32:27.4. Behind him was Paul Alfonso in 16th with a time 33:57.4 and Adam Palmer in 32nd in 40:02.1. Rounding out the team was Michael Desir in 36th at 45:58.0.

Up Next - The Colonels will next race on Saturday when they go to the Hartford Invitational.
