Rogers was the Colonel's ace, earning 12 wins, 151 strikeouts, and a career-low 1.77 ERA. Rogers cracked the top 10 in multiple categories in program history with 477 strikeouts (2nd), 91 appearances (3rd), 28 wins (7th), and 33 complete games (10th). Her strikeouts per seven innings ratio of 8.50 also ranks first, more than a strikeout per game better than the next closest player.
The senior was also effective in the batter's box for Curry, totaling 24 hits, including six doubles, eight RBIs, and 14 runs scored.
The awards honor student-athletes from the Association's 10 regions by selecting them for one of three teams. NFCA member head coaches nominate and then vote for the winners in their respective regions. All honorees move forward to be considered for selection for the three NFCA Division III All-America squads, which will be announced May 28 online and on-site at the NCAA Division III Finals banquet in Bloomington, Ill.
