Canton, MA - The Curry Women's Hockey team fell to Plymouth State on Saturday 4-3, as the Panthers scored the go ahead goal with less than two minutes left in the game. The Colonels are now 5-4-1 on the season, while Plymouth State is 4-6-0.
The Panthers scored first 15 minutes into the game, but the Colonels responded a minute later, as Kylie Harrison scored with an assist from Darby Marshall. It was the exact same story in the second period, as the Panthers scored to take a lead, just for the Colonels to respond a minute later, this time it was Marshall scoring on the power play. The third period saw the Colonels jump out to their first lead of the game, with Tommi Nash scoring less than a minute into the period. But the Panthers tied things up with a power play goal, and then scored with less than two minutes left in the game to win it 4-3.
The Colonels outshot the Panthers 54-24, and won the faceoff battle 37-23.
Goalie Sarah Kerr made 20 saves in net.
Up Next - The Colonels will take some time off, returning to play in January, when they host Lake Forest on the 3rd at 2pm.
