Beverly, MA - The Curry Women's Hockey team fell to Endicott on Saturday 4-1, ending the regular season with a 9-13-2 record, and 4-11-2 record in CNE play. The Gulls are 19-4-2 and 15-2-1.
Endicott scored four minutes into the game, and held a 1-0 lead until eight minutes into the second when Margot Oxman scored on an assist from Aria Kader, tying things up at one. But the Gulls would retake the lead less than four minutes later. It stayed that way until just over two minutes left in the third, when the Colonels pulled their goalie for an extra attacker. Just seconds later the Gulls scored an empty netter, and then added a goal with seven seconds left in the game to win 4-0.
Oxman, who scored the lone goal of the game for the Colonels, was playing in her 100th career game.
The Gulls outshot the Colonels 49-28, and won the faceoff battle 32-29.
Coriann Hoag stopped 45 of the 48 shots she faced.
Up Next - The Colonels will enter the CNE playoffs as the #6 seed, and will travel to #3 Johnson & Wales on Wednesday, with a 6pm start time.
