Women's Lacrosse Selected 5th in TCCC Pre-Season Coaches' Poll
SPRINGFIELD, Mass. - Five-time defending TCCC champion Endicott College has been selected as the favorite to win the 2011 The Commonwealth Coast Conference women’s lacrosse championship, it was announced today by Commissioner Gregg M. Kaye. Voting for the preseason poll was conducted among the league’s head women’s lacrosse coaches.
Endicott (16-5, 11-0) received 11 of 12 first-place votes in the 2011 TCCC preseason poll. Roger Williams was selected as the runner-up and received the lone remaining first-place vote. The University of New England was slotted third, while Western New England and Curry were selected to finish fourth and fifth, respectively.
Teams received 12 points for every first place vote received, 11 points for second place votes, 10 points for third place votes, down to one point for a last place vote.
