Men’s Lacrosse Falls to Golden Bears
Curry College was defeated 12-5 by Western New England University in a Conference of New England men’s lacrosse game Tuesday afternoon at Golden Bear Stadium.
SPRINGFIELD, Mass. - Curry College was defeated 12-5 by Western New England University in a Conference of New England men's lacrosse game Tuesday afternoon at Golden Bear Stadium.
With the loss, the Colonel's overall record falls to 2-13 and 2-4 in conference.
Five different Colonels scored throughout the contest, starting with Brody Dalzell and Nicholas Cole in the first and Jed Cappuccino in the second. After a scoreless third for Curry, Joey Pinto and Sebastian Reid went back-to-back to finish out scoring in the contest.
Niko DeCola played the majority of the game in net for the Colonels, making 10 saves in the loss.
Curry College returns to action for the final home game of the season against Endicott on Saturday, April 19th, beginning at 2 p.m.
