MILTON, Mass. - The Curry College women's tennis team dropped an 8-1 Commonwealth Coast Conference decision to Gordon College Wednesday afternoon at the Trent J. Scott Tennis Courts.
With the loss, Curry falls to 2-8 overall on the season and 0-5 in CCC play. Gordon improves to 4-1 overall and 3-1 in the CCC.
Curry got its only win of the day at first singles, where sophomore Alexandra Borkov (Newton, Mass.) stayed red hot with a 6-3, 6-0 victory. The win pushes Borkov to 8-1 in singles play on the season.
The Colonels will get right back on the court on Thursday for a rescheduled match against UMass Dartmouth. First serves are scheduled for 3 p.m.
