ORLANDO, FL. - The Curry College Women's Tennis team was defeated by non-conference opponent Colby-Sawyer 9-0 Tuesday afternoon at the USTA National Campus.
With the defeat, Curry falls to 2-15 on the season. With the win, Colby-Sawyer improves to 12-2 on their season.
Curry's Serena Wilson (Windsor, Conn.) pushed her singles match to the tiebreaker set, overcoming a 0-6 loss in the first set to taking the second 7-6. The final frame fell in favor of Colby-Sawyer's Elise Hogan, 10-8.
The Colby-Sawyer Chargers left no points on the table, sweeping the contests in both doubles and singles Tuesday afternoon.
Curry will be back out on the court Thursday as they take on Macalester at 5 PM.
