2022 Curry College Women's Volleyball Schedule

MILTON, Mass. - The Curry College women’s volleyball team announced its 2022 competition schedule on Friday afternoon.

Curry will play 25 regular season matches, including 12 at the Dr. Eleanor Meyerhoff Katz Gymnasium. 

The Colonels will have to wait almost three weeks from the start of the season to take the floor at Katz Gym however, as they will open the season with a 10–match road trip. The campaign starts with a tri-match at Mass. Maritime on September 3 against the host Buccaneers and Anna Maria College.

The lengthy trip concludes on September 20, when the Colonels open Commonwealth Coast Conference play at Roger Williams University. Two days later, Curry will welcome Emmanuel College to Milton for its home opener on September 22.

Balancing out the schedule, Curry will play nine of its final 11 contests at home. The stretch begins on October 4 when the University of New England comes to town, and includes non-league matchups against Fisher (October 6), Fitchburg State (October 8), Bay Path (October 13), and Dean (October 20), and the Homecoming match against Gordon (October 15).

The regular season will come to a close on Saturday, October 29 at home against Salve Regina. The match will serve as Senior Day, and Curry women’s volleyball’s Class of 2023 will be honored on the court prior to playing their final regular season contest at Katz Gym.

“We are excited for the 2022 season,” said first-year head coach Sarah Hollis. “With the return of a core group of upperclassmen and the incoming freshman class, I am confident we will continue to grow and improve on the court. It should be a great season with some challenging matchups that I am confident our experienced players will help push us to success.”
