BRISTOL, R.I. - Curry College was defeated by Roger Williams University in three straight sets in a Conference of New England women's volleyball match Wednesday night at the Roger Williams Campus Recreation Center Gymnasium. Set scores were 25-17, 25-10, 25-13.
The loss gives the Colonels an overall record of 0-11 with a conference record of 0-1.
The Colonels' best set was the first, going even with the Hawks through the beginning of the match with a service ace from Meghan Abbott (Stoughton, Mass.) tying the set at 9-9.
Kyah Earls (San Francisco, Calif.) was the Curry standout with a team-high eight kills and ten digs throughout the entire match. Emma St. Cyr (Dover, N.H.) once again led the Colonels with six assists while adding a respectable seven digs.
Curry College returns to action with a home match against Mitchell on Saturday, September 28th, beginning at 1 p.m.
