Milton, MA - The Curry Women's Volleyball team fell to 5-11 on the season with a three set loss on Wednesday to Hartford. The Colonels are now 0-4 in CNE play, while the Hawks are 4-10 and 1-3.

The two big difference in the match came in the form of attacking and blocking. The Hawks hit at a .368 rate, compared to the Colonels at just.057. At the net, The Hawks had 12 total blocks to just two from Curry. Those two factors set the Colonels back, and ultimately they would fall 25-20, 25-17, 25-14. Despite falling behind in each set, the Colonels would have runs, where they would inch closer. But the Hawks would then pull back away.

The Colonels were led by Morgan Kramer's six kills, with Ciara Crayton right behind with five. Running the offense was Jasmyne Fillippini, who totaled 15 assists. Sonja Matheson had six digs to lead the team.
