Husson Shatters Program Record at CNE Championships
Wenham, MA - The Curry Cross Country team competed at the CNE Cross Country Championship on Saturday, and the men finished in 10th, while a couple of female runners represented the team as well.
The story of the day was Mackenzie Husson, as she shattered the program record in the women's 6k race, finishing in 25:44, good for 50th. It broke the previous program record by 40 seconds, previously set by Courtney Roberts in 2007. Laraeler Rossow also ran for the Colonels finishing in 37:13.6.
On the men's side of things, Blaise Denson furthor improved his program record in the 8k, finishing in 27:33.5, good for 32nd. Alex Nason and Linus Kiser also finished sub 30 minutes for the Colonels.
