Personal:
George was born in Baltimore, Md...is majoring in accounting at Curry, with a minor in finance...the son of Manny and Lisa Vonakis...has two older brothers, Joey and Niko...favorite spot on campus: Student Center...chose Curry for the opportunity to play on the men's ice hockey team and its location

Before Curry:
George is a 2018 graduate of The Kent School in Kent, Conn...played four years of varsity ice hockey and baseball and three years of varsity soccer for the Lions...played junior hockey for the Maryland Black Bears of the North American Hockey League...was his team's leading scorer in 2019

2023-24:
Appeared in 26 games for the Colonels...finished with 15 total points on 11 assists and four goals

2022-23:
Appeared in 27 games for the Colonels...selected as an alternate captain...tallied seven goals and 13 assists for 20 points...scored his first collegiate goal in a 5-2 win over Wentworth on November 4
