WENHAM, Mass. – The Curry College women's volleyball team fell by a 3-0 final on Tuesday night in Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) action at Gordon College.
The Fighting Scots (8-7 overall, 1-2 CCC) won by set scores of 25-13, 25-22 and 25-17. Mackenzie Hinds (Higganum, Conn.) paced Gordon with a match-high 14 kills while Jamie Tafoya (Fort Collins, Colo.) added eight, and Ashlyn Gergins (Murrieta, Calif.) handed out 29 assists to go along with one service ace.
The Colonels (3-8 overall, 0-2 CCC) were led by Lexi Pereira (Attleboro, Mass.) with 12 kills and six digs while Jordyn Keith (Whitman, Mass.) contributed a team-high 13 digs.
Curry will next travel to Eastern Nazarene on Thursday, September 27 for a non-league matchup at 7:00 p.m.
