Personal:
Gabriella "Ella" was born in Attleboro, Massachusetts...is majoring in Nursing at Curry...is the daughter of Richard and Martine Palanza and has five siblings — William, Beau, Mariana, Paden, Richard, and Lorenzo. Her mother, Martine, competed in track and field at Northeastern, while her brothers have all competed in collegiate athletics, including football, rowing, and swimming...chose Curry for its Nursing program and the opportunity to be a dual-sport athlete.

Before Curry:
Palanza is a graduate of Mansfield High School in Mansfield, Massachusetts. A three-sport athlete in field hockey, basketball, and lacrosse, she served as captain in all three during her senior year. She earned multiple Hockomock League All-Star selections, school records for rebounds, and was named Mansfield’s Female Athlete of the Year in 2025.
